At the Osaka Kansai Expo 2025, Abel exhibited alongside companies from Yao City at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion’s interactive event, “Touch Everything Museum.”
Abel Co., Ltd. exhibited a “storybook where jet-black stainless steel reflects the night’s darkness,” created using Abel Black®, our proprietary electrochemical coloring technology that produces a rich, deep black finish on stainless steel.
Together with two other material manufacturers and picture book author Tomonori Taniguchi, we brought to life a tactile storybook that reveals the subtle beauty of deep black—reminiscent of lacquer—an often overlooked quality found in everyday materials.
